Carole King's original version came out in 1971. It's interesting that in that same year, an American rock singer, poet and songwriter named James Douglas Morrison found dead in Paris. And 35 years later comes an English singer-songwriter and guitarist also called James Morrison and releasing this version, which is in many opinion, is better than the original. Personally, I have no definite opinion which of the two is better.
