Bit of a strange coincidence this was released during the height of Spice Girl Power.A plate with Booth's picture on it? That's either a very profound statement, or just ridiculous. He's not a consumable product, but he is. Just don't tell Damien Hirst.

I'm a 15 year old guy, and James was the first band I ever heard, as it was playing in the room I was born in, love this song

Song of the Day 12-180 James—Destiny Callinga sort of swan song here in the States. A rather interesting story of blacklisting US distribution by a label exec made the 1999 (Millionaires) and 2001 release (Pleased To Meet You) unattainable unless by import.one of two new songs included on their '98 Best Of, Destiny Calling came on today. as i write the oft-delayed James' box set comes from the UK, 16 months overdue.

InokertyRocks Absolutely, and our loss here in USA, Inc. Tim Booth and the guys weren't received well because most of this land wouldn't know decent music and poetry if you threw it up their arses. I'm embarrassed by what they shove out there and call "music". Luckily I was born just in time to experience the 60s.
