James & Bobby Purify - Morning Glory video free download

There's a cover of this tune by a band whose name I do not know. I remember that it had some sky-high slide guitar work on it and that the tempo was slower and funkier. The vocals were also a bit mournful and obviously by a white guy. Anybody remember it? It was sometime in the mid to late 70's and didn't receive a lot of airplay. If anyone can post something or point me in the right direction, I would be forever in their debt.

was in hospital when this was out, bit by bit i got better and great songs like this on the radio helped my recovery and i soon learnt to walk again and by christmas 1976 i was out of my wheelchair and back in school
