Hello! Voilà un cover à la basse de "I want you back" des Jackson Five! J'adore cette chanson, et j'adore surtout la ligne en or du bassiste James Jamerson, je crois! Y'a des petits pains, pas trop visibles j'espère! ^^

Bonne écoute!

Hey, this is a cover of "I want you back" by the Jackson Five! I love this song, this groove and this golden bassline from the bassist James Jamerson, I think! Well, I hope you'll enjoy this video and you won't notice my mistakes! ^^

I like how he feels the music he's in his own zone

Nice work! You did a fine job. I do have one correction though: though James Jamerson played expertly on MANY Motown tunes, the bass on this was (I am almost certain) played by Wilton Felder, not James Jamerson. Feldon also played bass on "ABC" and "The Love You Save". All three were recorded in California rather than at Hitsville Studios (Motown, Detroit, MI).

My reaction after comparing my covers to David's: Bass or sale.

Listen to Jamersons isolated bass tracks. They're not straight signals from the bass, they're nearly always a mic'd up Ampeg B15. Furthermore, this is Wilton Felder, not Jamerson.

James Jamerson, the bass he played was so good that during the recording of a song, the engineers would just plug Jamerson's bass directly into the feed. He was that good. You are very good and your wide range is astounding. thank you.
