Timeless. Heard that when I was an 18-year-old freshman at university. Hearing it now, I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

It is a song about Life's Ironies and how they prove themselves as the ultimate Truth over Time. What a Song....

It is a reference to being young and thinking you knew it all and growing older to realize you had so much more to learn... specifically Dylan and his evolving stance on issues.

Well, duh. They could own a restaurant, too, but what are the odds?

Just because a person is homeless, doesn't mean he or she can't go to a library computer and have a FB or YT account.

Umm, how does a homeless person have a YouTube account?

this song is Dylan's request not to be held up as the icon of a generation he wanted to go in a different direction "I was so much older then I'm younger than that now". I think this quote sums it up perfectly."while the rest of us were just beginning to dip our toes in the river of decent, Dylan was already on the other side drying off"

What an excellent rendition of one of my favorite Dylan songs by two of my favorite artists.

THANK YOU for actually covering the original version of this song, and not covering a cover (the Byrds' version). This is literally the only version I've found on Youtube that isn't an emulation of the poppy Byrds version. Why people choose to perform this song in a bright, cheerful, poppy tone, I cannot understand. Maybe that's just the only version that they know...which would be quite sad.

Wow what an interesting version. When I saw the listing, I had to listen, thinking that these 2 terrific singers would probably do justice to this deep, incredible song. Yes yes yes.

@croco13 you're correct. it IS "defined". Whoever did the lyrics copy for this video just got the word wrong.
