Allman wrote the arrangement for the new version.(Jackson wrote the lyrics when he was 16) Allman had a huge impact creatively giving Jackson the idea of a slower finger pick style.

Like the mellowness of this version. I love the original with David Lindley on slide guitar and with some percussion, but this is really nice, too. Love the closing line "Don't confront me with my failures, I had not forgotten them". He was 16 when he wrote this song! Amazing!
