What an incredible rendition of this classic anthem.....hell could I relate to this song. Still can. And still play it at full volume to ruffle the feathers of those tired, traded wings, whose law degree a BMW brings.

nicely different with additional rhythm, gives it a little more juice, as does the keyboard work. Bless David Lindley too, he brings such immense talent to songs.

@rtrawler If you ever have the opportunity to see him DO NOT pass it up! JB is the real deal, a wonderful human being that treats all he encounters with love, peace and grace. He performed a private solo show for my wife and I alone the night before a show we were producing for him. It is one of our fondest memories. I am so happy you enjoyed this video although I can only take credit for some of the editing and sound enhancement, it is posted elsewhere on YouTube!

Incredible...This song and the whole Late for The Sky album have been special to me since I was a kid in the late seventies. The emotive thought behind the lyrics creates an audio landscape I go back to every time I hear this song and this live version adds another layer of melody that makes it even better. I've never seen him live but this has me searching for concert dates.

This song was written in the late 1960s as a countercultural statement about the coming fall of the mainstream culture due to an natural apocalypse. It anticipated the "back to the land" movement of the early 1970s.

Beautiful version of After the Deluge. Not sure exactly what it all means, but it makes me think of the Elves leaving Middle Earth in Lord of the Rings.

I often listen to this five or six times in a row and wonder how many people who listen to this really understand what this song is really about.
