Wrong, that is the way the audience was told to act. In actuality German audiences are generally the loudest and have the most fun. The TV show presented itself this way until it went a change in the 80's. The audience isn't sitting there because that was the culture, that was how the show was presented and the audience was told to act that way. When they changed the format of the show they did away with the lounge look, all the tables and chairs and let the people stand and dance.11 years ago
