because people work too much on developing their technique and way too little on developing their ability to compose melodical stuff. Most players came there with a composition that was literally to show of their technique skill, which is just wrong to begin with, while jack's intention was for users to listen to his song. I'm not saying others were all bad, for instance i remember argos from ozielzinho being melodical, but jack's composition was better
