I assume this was recorded in 2009-10 when she was testing the waters for a comeback. The damage done was extremely obvious, not even in her singing voice but her speaking voice as well. You can also hear on Between The Cheats and A song For You. This is when she REALLY started to sound like Billie Holiday (who also was a full blown alcoholic/Drug Addict). It's really hard to find a decent performance from her post 2008. I always wondered had she'd gotten her shit together much sooner (i guess Mid-2007) maybe the mess wouldn't have been so hard to clean up. When she went to Rehab in 2009 she should've went for Drugs AND alcohol.

maybe it was not everyones favourite cover i was just happy to see her getting on with business finally maybe putting her bad times behind her and her voice would have changed regardless the drugs and booze because she was getting older we all change in sound as we get older maybe alittle more from all her smoking sad r.i.p.amy
