It was originally a USA hit for Jerry Lee Lewis and a UK 1962 #2 hit single for Cliff Richard & The Shadows

very simular to the Jerry lee lewis version, say wat you want about Cliff but at least he put his own stamp on it... this can also be said about "do you wanna dance" also!!!

@YCSMusic Having heard Gerry Marsden live in Toronto, I think he is one fantastic singer BUT I much prefer Cliff's version of "It'll Be Me!"

Sorry, although i like Gerry & The Pacemakers and have How Do You Do It an Ferry Cross The Mersy 45rps, The CIiff version beats this. but then, i have grown up listening to cliff richard.

I'd choose Gerry's version over Cliff anyday, love Gerry & The Pacemakers...can't stand Cliff Richard. Great piece of R&R.
