This album is a seminal work from true musical pioneers/explorers of the '60's/'70's. Their re-workings of the material from these artists is a huge indicator of the respect and admiration they shared for their fellow brothers in arms. As a young boy I can remember how eye-opening it was to hear a new take on an already masterful song. "Givin' it Back," has been a staple of my music collection since I was able to get my hands on a copy.
