@MrGeordiLaforge LOL, whether Kai Hansen cited Maiden as an influence or not, the fact remains it is noticeable in his work. Nothing to be ashamed of, Maiden and Priest are amazing bands. I didn't know Iron Savior, I'm just discovering them. Not bad but a little derivative.

@ChiloteFlaite I like both Iron Maiden and Iron Savior. However, to say that Iron Maiden "created" the stuff these guys play, is incorrect. Judas Priest was the primary influence behind Kai Hansen, who is considered the godfather of power metal (and is one of the founders of IS). JP predates IM. Hansen never cited IM as an influence. That being said, I've seen both Iron Maiden and Gamma Ray and Helloween in concert. To say IM has more creativity than all bands out of Germany is just jackassery.
