Por melhor que seja Bruce Dinckinson, as músicas originalmente gravadas na voz de Paul Di´Anno são insuperáveis, nem o próprio Paul Di´Anno hoje consegue chegar perto do que já cantou. Ele foi marcante no Maiden, sua voz era inconfundível, há uma fusão de melodia e agressividade que só ele conseguia fazer. As músicas dos discos Iron Maiden (1980) e Killers (1981), Bruce nunca conseguiu cantar melhor, nem na época em que estava em plena forma vocal.

I would agree that this is the rare song that Paul did much better. Along with Killers, and (surprisingly) Remember Tomorrow It's probably his best work. While Bruce dwarfs him in every way, Bruce's voice is too...I'll go with...refined for prowler.

It's one of the songs that bruce can't do. Bruce has range but he doesn't have the raw aggression that the song requires. This song, wrathchild, and others like drifter and killers bruce ' s range doesn't make up for Paul's punk vocalist style.
