Hey guys. This is the electric version of the song Journeyman, from Iron Maiden's EP, No More Lies Souvenir. The original version was on the 2003 album, Dance of Death. Originally, it was Iron Maiden's first - and only - acoustic song. Both versions are amazing. Enjoy

I agree. There's something more soulful and beautiful about the acoustic version. I first heard it on the Death On The Road DVD, which I got before I bought the Dance Of Death album. Up The Irons from Michigan, Maiden is awesome!

I think he means in terms of calmness. It's not like any other Iron Maiden song. Very unique!

To be exact - THIS was the original version, then they thought it would sound better acoustic so they re-recorded it and put the acoustic version on the album.

yes but its not an electric bass like in prodigal son in journey man a acoustic bass is used and its not an upright bass its just like an acoustic guitar

Journeyman has Bass, doesn't it?

Well the digital artwork wasn't finished and Maiden wanted the unfinished version.

@Mihogan Well Maiden wanted to use the unfinished version of the artwork. So the artist removed himself from the credits. also theres a completed version of the artwork floating around the internet. I have no clue why they didn't want the finished version. I guess cause they loved the mess ups in it.

Prodigal son doesnt count because of the bass.... If it were acoustic it would have an acousic bass or none at all

@Mihogan According to Adrian Prodigal Son is a fully acoustic song.

@argusmaiden As I explained earlier, there were electric guitars along with the acoustic guitar in that song; therefore, it wasn't fully acoustic. This is there first real acoustic song.

This is not their first and only acustic song, Prodigal Son of the Album Killers was their first acustic song.
