Iron Maiden isn't my favorite band, but holy hell was it the best live band I have ever seen! And this song. Amazing to hear 50k people singing this. Goose pumps :D Well this summer I will see AC/DC so lets see if they can top IM :P

I'm 26 now. Back when I first got into music when I was ~16, Iron Maiden was my one of my all-time favorite bands. I remember being trapped without technology at a summer camp in northern California back then. When I got home from it, I pulled out my walkman and put on "Aces High" and it was one of the best feelings I can remember: being able to finally listen to music again.Somewhere along the line, I completely forgot about Iron Maiden for the past 8-9 years. I listen to a ton of stuff like August Burns Red nowadays, but somehow ended up losing my Maiden albums and not even realizing it.Then today, I was at the grocery store getting some beer with a friend, and saw a beer titled something like "Fear the dark" and it sent all my love for Iron Maiden crashing back into my mind. I immediately pulled up "Fear of the Dark" on the YouTube app on my phone and blasted it for my friend in the middle of the beer aisle at Vons. I still remembered most of the lyrics and melodies. It seems so blasphemous that its been so long since I've listened to them.So here I am downloading their discography again and looking up their classic songs. I can't believe how great Bruce still sounds here. What a performance. I hope I never forget about bands like this again.
