This Song is taken form Best of the B'sides album, by Iron Maiden. It is a cover of Jethro Tull.

I have added Annotations about the album and the rare box set it was released in. Enjoy

EDIT:

Many have commented and asked or talked about what period this was from. It was recorded for the Piece of Mind album as B-side (hence, was released on the best of the b-side album) Was also released on a re-issue bonus Piece of Mind disk in 1995 and on The Trooper single in 1983 (but not on the re-release in 2005).

As you can read and hear Jethro Tull as been relativly influential to Iron Maidens style and distinct sound.

Please check out my other Iron Maiden uploads, as they contain relevant information, and or art.

Iron Maiden признаются в любви к творчеству Jethro Tull, исполняя их классический трек " Косоглазая Мэри "...

People forget Tull could kick it pretty seriously in their heyday---Love the the The Irons wear their heroes on their sleeves. Good lads, indeed.

I remember reading way back when they first released this that Bruce Dickinson kinda complained that the band recorded it with the original tuning which was lower for Ian Anderson's baritone voice and as a result Bruce had to sing even HIGHER to be in the proper key. I'm not a musician, I'm just repeating what I read :-)
