Nah. You cant capture the somber emotion of this song in an upbeat bluegrass version. Its impossible. Good covers, but all of them sound the same

I really believe you just need to get in touch with your bluegrass roots, then you can truly capture all the emotion from this song! Modest Mouse is amazing though!

Nah. Its good, theres just no way possible to capture all the emotion in a bluegrass tune.. every one of their modest mouse covers sound pretty damn similar. Good jams though

Finally rain! @BeLiterary You might want to read the entirety of my comment before replying to it. That was my whole point. I wrote "the lyrics are rather depressing". That's why the song's title works on two levels: the one being that the lyrics are themselves about polar opposites, i.e. bipolar disorder; and the other being the fact that the lyrics are depressing, but the song itself (the music) is upbeat. Have you even heard the original? It's catchy as hell.
