This is one of my ten favorite albums ever, regardless of what the fans are negatively assessed this album, this is the band's metamorphosis and one incredible sound and production for that time.

The best thing we ever recorded with Doug Ingle Pretty much just Ron Bushy, Doug Ingle, Richie Podolor, and Bill Cooper. Kept doug up three days to get that rasp in his voice. Over the top with echo, ect, but that was the point. Bill Cooper played bass, Richie electric gtr, Doug acoustic gtr, organ, and vocal, and Ron Bushy drumsl Great lyrics... what does it mean? "The greatest man is all alone", "beneath the stone"

Every track on the album had merit, it silenced any criticism of 'self indulgence', as someone else pointed out, it was a 'mature' version of Iron Butterfly... faultless in it's production... it just drew me right in, I couldn't take it off the turntable... :)~~

And about at that time The bass player in our band SnowDitch in Tilbury Ontario (The late Randy Marchand) was turning me onto this album and I was mesmerized to say the least........
