Favorite Iron Butterfly song. What a voice! I'm thinking if a radio station played it today, there would be a lot of calls asking WHO WAS THAT?We still slow dance to this. Great memories from my youth.

found Ball! IButterly One of the best psyche bands of all time ... really dig InGaddaDaVida "quickie" and bach-like fugue organ parts Time of Our Lives ... bought Klipsch speakers and super cheap but capable Audiophile table JUST TO HEAR THIS AGAIN!! We also got turned off by the clogged roads leading to Wood, going at last minute (yes we were stoned out of our minds (Acapulco Gold and wine).

This song actually got me laid by the lovely young lady that lived next door..Started out as a slow dance and the rest is history. She died 7 years later so this song means something different now.

I have liked this cut since I was a teenager. The baseline is incredible and the build up and then going gentle again, like at 1:50 was innovative.

I was Sure I was the "only" person who ever listened to this side of the Album. I can still picture my portable record player, and hear the tinny scratch at the beginning of this song. I Loved the passion he put into singing this song. It may be what taught me to feel music, as much as just listening to it. HUGE THANKS for this up load. Made my day !!

Another beautiful side of their talent and another reminder how old our generation has gotten. Lee Dorman has now rode out on a Butterfly. A peaceful trip to you. Your music lives on thankfully.
