IRON BUTTERFLY's Metamorphosis came out in 1970. I was 16 years old. Every time I hear this it takes me back to when I lived in Suburbia in Western Independence, Missouri. It always makes me remember the summer, sun, having fun, and a much less volatile and a much more musically-adventurous time in our culture. Most of my favourite Rock is British Rock in the genre known as Progressive/Art Rock; but this album is on my Top 25 albums of all time list.13 years ago
