nope stone sour has only 2 slipknot members and was coreys first band and slipknot came in 99 while stone sour ws b4 93...

Stone Sour was formed in 1992, and had about 4 demo CD's before Slipknot was formed. Corey and Jim were both originally from Stone Sour. They started Stone Sour back up again between Slipknot's albums Iowa and Vol. 3.
