These guys and Matt strike me as genuinely modest, nice people to hang out with. Their live gigs are fantastic, stripped back rock with no pretentious swagger. Great stuff.

love the band of skulls! they rock! "There's one for the money, and two for the sin, and three for the time when authority kicks in. There's four for the reason, and five for the tricks, but nothing's gonna save you from the six, six, six. There's seven for the days, and seven for the nights, seven for the heavens, and the tunnels and the lights."

Since the early 80s, my friends and I have joked that "lack of a back-up plan" may be the salient difference between British and American rockers (and why the Brits were almost always better!). This may finally be changing, though, as America loses opportunity -- but it has held so far since at least the 1960s. BTW, I can hardly say enough good things about BoS. They give us all hope.
