I love this song, really great lyrics. My wife of over 30+ years in marriage gave me a music B-Day card with a clip of this song in the card. The song has a fantastic early 50's night club ensemble sound to it; plus I love the upright bass--a real mellow low end. So, I just had to listen to the whole thing. But most important are the lyrics. Thank you Ingrid Michaelson, for a beautiful song; your lyrics are the stuff of what makes a marriage or relationship last, like mine and my wife's.

i remember my parents got me a singing card for my birthday that played like ten seconds of this song and i remember i when i found it again i played it so much it broke haha this is a really amazing song i love ingrid she's such a good artist

I love the way she presents the clowns as 'the NORMS' in this music video and presents herself as 'the odd one out'. The message is clear and beautiful; basically saying that even though shes weird and not like the rest he still loves her no matter what. Its beautifully different and I love it.
