Breakdowns are nice when they don't occur in every song/3 times a song, and when they aren't generic as fuck.

im not seeing what everyone's talking about ingested all of a sudden being deathcore. please, explain to me how the fuck this is deathcore. they've kept the technicality from the last album,sure theres a couple breakdowns here and there throughout the surreption but no big deal, they still use slams and the vocals are in my opinion just as good as on their last album.

music shouldn't be made to allow vocals "to be brutal" and no a vocalist either can perform good vocals or he can't no amount of music work can make a shit vocalist good (without computer enhancing of course) but you are right to some extent for example bands often use a blast beat at the start of a vocal to give it more hit and within ingested's case (in their older albums) they would use the fast double bass on some of their gutturals to give them a more brutal feel, so you are right and wrong

I agree with what you're saying, but I was answering to your statement "how in any way can a guitar be brutal." Instruments set the foreground for the vocals to come in and be brutal. In other words, vocals wouldn't have the opportunity to be brutal without instruments. It's like singing without any instruments

so if something ISN'T BRUTAL it's not important it seems you are the hipocrit here (either that or you didn't read my comment properly) i was pointing out that guitar isn't brutal that dosen't mean it's not important a song with good vocals and shit guitar is ruined, ingested used to have great vocals and great grooves and slams, sadly this album dosen't have any of those things awful vocals and average riffs and the drumming has died down just worse in every sense

all ingested songs have 3 or 4 breakdowns... your point pretty invalid... and how in any way can guitar be brutal..? thats like saying ooooh brutal guitar solo or oooh brutal slam both death metal and deathcore kids act liek fucking children breakdowns and slams can have "HEAVY" bass but most bands can't produce BRUTAL vocals ingested used to be one of the few bands who could produce good vocals than they made this shitty album
