Have had the good fortune to see them live at "The Concert in the Park" in Sioux City, Iowa, my home town. They are AWESOME live! If you ever get the chance, don't pass them up!

What is originality? Musicians come before and others take it to another level. The level of feeling put into Indigenous music is near beyond compare

Yes..they played in a cow pasture a couple miles from my home ..dirt roads & the Seminole Nation...Los lobo"s too..the night was electrify ...magical! ! Free for the people ..all under the stars ...After, the show they talked with us & were really down to earth...All the guys were happy to sign my shirt for a gift.." I always bring home signatures for my nieces & nephews ..However ..I still have many ;) like Frank Zappa & Charlie Daniels.

Cont., the Great TAJ MAHALL, Chris Duarte and of course INDIGENOUS .... Both times I saw them I was near the front and could go and look at Mato's Pedal Board and Amp Settings from the floor ..... LOUD, Crisp and Perfectly Musical .... the last tme I saw them I walked up to them with Three beers as they mingled with the crowd after the show .... Just the nicest People You'd Ever want to meet and Be Around .... I LOVE THEM !!!!!!!

Howdy My Fellow Blues Lovers, I've got to agree with those of you whose Souls Are Touched, Turned On and Elevated by the Amazing Talent that IS INDIGENOUS .... I've seen them twice at a Blues Club in Kansas City, MO called the Grand Emporium .... sadly the club was sold and is now closed. They Won 2 W.C. Handy Awards for being The Best Blues Club in America .... the got these by Showcasing the likes of .Buddy Guy, SRV, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Lonnie Brooks, Benard Allison

I love this band. Haven't played near Northern Michigan in a long time as far as I know. Can't afford to drive a state or two away to see them. I have no idea why this band doesn't rule the world. Their music is amazing!! Kinda sad the "music" that is played on the radio and Indigenous music goes unnoticed (at least where I am from).

@nativeheart4u Look for Tom Weir and Blues Nation. Not better than Indigenous, but damn good. Much more old blues.

Thank God for XM radio and BB King's Bluesville station or I may have never heard of this group. All I can say is HOLY SHIT!!!! Gotta find out if they ever come to the southeast area..namely Tennessee!

When I die, I want this song to be played at my funeral. With the exact same intensity as Mato Nanji would play it.

@CarrollGazette Its from the their album that has a red cover, i believe it is their second album, but i believe the song is "Storm is coming".....definitly a South Dakota's dark clouds rolling song. The group is from South Dakota.
