Why does this remind me of Mike Patton? Maybe I will give Incubus a shot. Any band that makes me think of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle is worth my time.

Godammit people stop whining!! Put ur selves in their shoes . Incubus is in such a different place nowadays ! You can particulary see it on Brandon on live shows. He can't write songs contrary to his process as a person. Such a talented amazing person. They still have the same .. Same solid basis wich contains the DNA of Incubus.

your right. there better. how can you say with 18 years more experience then there first album that they have gotten worse? if anything there lyrical and melodic message has gotten stronger. Music shouldnt be judged by genre when all genres have there own good music but however on there message and how well instruments accent the voice of that particular song. people who judge music by genre dont know what music really is they just like a particular sound.

agreed^^ they have never played anything other then what they wanted to play. On top of that all the songs that people say are for mainstream that got big in reality never even really got that big compared to how big the other top songs from the real mainstream artists were when they came out. incubus is NOT the richest band out there by FAR and there is nothing that exists on this world that would point incubus out as a mainstream band even there 2011 album.

your completely wrong about that actually. the 2011 album was when they got old enough and finally realized that they gave no fucks to how much money they made or what people thought. There music carries the emotions of them and since they have gotten older and more mature so has there music. The best musicians can alter there music style and still be perceived as the same artist with the same mindset which is what they have been doing every album since 1995. not one album has ever been similar.

yeah most bands do that but incubus has never changed there music to what the general population wants and never will. they music is ever changing because to do the same thing over and over would limit expression through music. None of there music is made or even in the same style as what the general population wants even there new album which is why all the members of incubus still consider themselves to be more of a live band then a band that records markets and distributes. u all know nothing
