This is a song that came out of nowhere for me. I originally posted it knowing nothing about it until quedorf informed me. Now I keep it on for entertainment. ^^

All pictures taken by me; just having fun in my backyard.

Inbred Local

by the Poxy Boggards

I'm and inbred local

And I got no brain to speak of

My furrowed brow gets deeper every day

My education's spotty, just this side of nonexistent

'Cuz knowin' things just might get in the way

Well I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes today

Oh, well I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chrom--hey, what are they?

Well the neighbours they all think I'm dumb

'Cuz I don't have apposin' thumbs

And I cannot pick up the telephone

I often sit at home and cry

My cousin uncle tells me why

He says it's due to lack of chromosomes

Oh well I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes today

Oh well I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chrom--hey, what are they?

Oh, well my cousin uncle nephew told my sister Aunt Louise

That my cousin father grandpa has got triple jointed knees

My sister cousin twice removed raised a flipper in despair

And my darlin' niece and charmin' wife just spits up clumps'a hair

And as I sit and wonder you know that I've got to think

That our gene pool's about as big as a kitchen sink

And I don't care what people say

I'm quite content to be this way

And to my close knit kin I raise this toast

Scripture verse and Bible song

Prove out my theory right along

Just look at the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost

Oh God I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes today

Oh I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chrom--hey, what are they?

(One more time around the family tree, boys!)

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes today

Oh, well I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chromosomes

I wish I had more chrom--hey, what are they?

(Yee-hah!)

(Whoo!)

(More chromo DNA, uh-hu)

*neigh*

@HappyDas I have this song on Dr. Demento's Basement Tapes # 5. It's track 3.

@mrgreaper2009 And what CD would that be? I have them all (even the live ones), and none of them have a Poxy Boggards song on them. =P It's a common mistake that this song is said to be by the Arrogant Worms. Just think about it; do any of the three Worms' voices sound like that? Ever? =D

This is not the Arrogant Worms. This is the Poxy Boggards. Check CDBaby for "Bawdy Parts" or the most current album, "The First Two Albums."

Written by Bill Roper of the Poxy Boggards, it was the hidden track on their album "Bawdy Parts." It was also featured heavily on the Dr. Demento show and appeared on "Dr. Demento's Basement Tapes Number 5."

I do have to apologize. I may have been mistaken. it was sung by the Poxy Boggards. I learn something new every day. Hope I did not mislead you.

Interestly, that is how I found this song on LimeWire, when I was looking up songs by The Arrogant Worms (amazing group ^_^). But I found nothing of this song actually being sung by them; there's no proof. Is there?

"My educations spotty, just this side of non-existant". " My sister cousin twice removed raised a flipper in despair" "That our gene pool about as big as a kitchen sink" "And to my close knit kin I raise this toast"
