@lostprophetrob1 Your argument is an fallacy. You can't compare music and state your subjective opinion as a fact. It's not about musical knowledge at all, it's about musical PREFERENCES. If you don't like the music they make nowadays, you don't listen to it. Be happy that you have the first 5 to listen to instead then. They don't cater to any trends or fans, they just write the music they think is good themselves and it's a plus if people like it in the end. Have a nice day.

@Krofius oh great explanation by wise man. Today's In Flames, in terms of musical quality, is nothing but s*ht, when you compare it with In Flames of those days. When your performance is on a decline, any person with some metal music knowledge would notice it and claim it when he/she finds a chance to do. If they are doing the metal music stuff which they like, then i would say, they should check their 'aesthetic preferences of like and dislike '.

@NORWAYJOSE Also by the way, is there any chance you catched IF back in Sacramento CA (I think it was) back in 2006? Johan Larsson (old bassist) apparently played 1-2 shows then and they played Worlds Within The Margin live which I am very interested in hearing. Been looking for videos or bootlegs from that show but they don't seem to exist sadly =/

@NORWAYJOSE No problems. I definitely envy you seeing them all the way back in '99. I only started to listen to IF back in very early 2006 because I'm only born 1992 but I've been a hardcore since then pretty much. I don't really favor any era, I basically just love all their outputs. They do what they want to do, and if it pleases me it's just a plus =)
