Or are you talking about the voice during the chorus? Because yeah, it would be difficult to sing two different parts simultaneously.

Bullshit, explain why the vocals sucked so goddamn much at Wacken 2012 then. I mean, I liked them because it proved they were real, but they were pretty objectively bad.

The Unforgiven

they probably did, just there weren't any mics to pick up the crowd

As much as I love this band , the sound guys really botched up cause everything is out of whack especially the vocals

You re Wrong,People who chech the sound etc is all about,Thats why sometimes lives arent good,I can show you live that his voice is Exactly like the album version,,!

he is singing, but as seen on alot of live vids, he isnt able to sing the way he ''sings'' on album, overproduction is a bitch, so he uses backing taped vocal, to cover his inability to sing some nice harmonics we can hear on studio recordings, which i have hard time respecting even though they are one of the best bands in my opinion.

Aha, I hadn't noticed until I read your comment. There is a sample playing during the chorus. But I don't think he's using it to cover up mistakes. It's a totally different vocal style then what he's doing over it. A lot like double tracking on an album. They've done a lot of stuff with a clean vocal track mixed with another using a bit of vocal fry. The rest is definitely live though, and sounds good to me. No lip syncing here, as far as I can tell. (In case that's what anyone thought)

I love In Flames but i came to respect them less when i heard that on every live anders uses prerecorded voice, so his live mistakes aren't heard... So sad...

They probably did, but this isn't a clip that is edited so much, because it isn't a released dvd clip. SO the audience mics around edited onto this clip.

I had never noticed those backing vocals so clearly before! Oh... By the way! Sound is pretty bad in this video!

these recordings are probably from the soundboard. You arent going to hear the crowd over the band. Most dvds/live albums mix the crowd in for the energetic vibe, but this isn't an album.
