This is a LIVE performance on piano of the song Heavy Lies The Crown from In Fear And Faiths album Imperial.

Pianist and Guitarist of In Fear And Faith, Ramin Niroomand, and Director, Nate Apffel, have collaborated together to introduce a special segment to the InFAFrock YouTube channel...in celebration of announcing In Fear And Faith releasing an Orchestral Rendition EP titled Symphonies in March 2011.

The concept is a Orchestral Rendition album of 3 songs from our album Your World On Fire and 3 songs from Imperial. The songs will also include many other elements along with vocals and special features. We WANT to hear your input, what songs would you absolutely love to hear? We NEED you guys to spread the word, tweet, facebook, holler at your neighbors...and lets get lots of active discussion about this :)

This New Segment of InFAFrock will be showcasing collaborative visually artistic piano performances of all the songs that will be featured on the Symphonies (Orchestral Rendition) EP...as well as Top 40 Piano Performances and Orchestral Renditions. All these songs will be available on iTunes, and the any support for the massive amount of work that's going into this project would be greatly appreciated.

Also, we will be working hard on giving you guys tutorials and sheet music for every InFAF and Top 40 song posted...since there's been such an incredible demand for it :) Seriously, pursue piano...or any passsion, but piano is truly an incredible instrument. You can learn.

I am so sad that he left the band. I hope In Fear and Faith get another pianist because without it, they are just another Post Hardcore band.

I think the only real reason anyone could dislike this song is due to it's chord progression which is in my opinion kinda not very challinging... Don't get me wrong it's a good song and especially the performance is to be envied (being a pianist/keyboardplayer myself, I envy such left hand skillz!), but to me it makes it sound a little boring after a while :( feels like there could be more made out of it :) But then again this seems to follow for many other songs of this type (like Comptine d'Un Autre Ete and River Flows in You).In my opinion these types of songs are mostly to show ones pure technique, which I love to see and I enjoyed watching, but sadly not so much to hear to be honest..

What you wrote wasn't constructive criticism, it was pure criticism and wasn't constructive at all.

Constructive critism isnt insulting someone idiot, when you critic someone you dont say something like "he's not a good pianist", you say what he needs to work on, dumbass.

that's true. To a mediocre pianist, it may sound like his timing's off, but in fact's it's multiple layers of melody that required intense technical skill to pull off and for the audience to be able to hear each separate branch of melody
