Lyrics :

La la la la, La la la la, La la la la, La la la

La la la la, La la la la, La la la la la

Eat, Sleep, breathe it,

you're full of the stuff

Go bag it, tie it up tight

Wheat-meat-dairy-free, teetotal, happy clappy

High on life, you should try it, try it, you know

Go on while no one's looking.

A-ha! Gotcha now!

Caught red handed in the biscuit tin!

Cost you to keep me quiet!

Golden boy boots, Pocket pedal stool

Picking sharp smart moves

Plastic, tin can, paper separator

Busy bee wave, wave save the planet flag

But sneaky in suburbia

A-ha! Candid Camera

Hook, line and sinker

For the four-wheel drive

Cost you to keep me quiet!

Keep me quiet!

(Keep me quiet!)

Nicest, sweetest,

upmost in everything

So charming, very charming

Well read, can play the fool, no one's ill at ease

and put their deepest swiss bank trust in you

No one saw it coming

Aaaha! Aaaaaaha! Aaaaaaaaaha!

You killed a man

Cost you to keep me quiet!

Am I the only one who thought Imogen was a guy at first while listening to her songs? :/

I don't have a preference between either PTX or this one. Just remember there would have not been a PTX version if Heap did not make this, just remember that.

I think I prefer Avi singing the bass and the lalala's, and I also prefer Mitch's stronger voice. (Pentatonix's song actually brought me here to hear the original. Still Prefer PTX).

Pentatonix sings it way better and she almost sounds just like Mitch except her voice is softer

Hm. Is it just me, or do these lyrics look like a bad lip reading?

She sounds like a guy to me. I'm sorry, but I much prefer Mitch. Just kidding, I'm not sorry at all.

my high school band incorporated this song into our 1st movement of our marching show called Vox Nova Humana, it was honestly the coolest thing ever

I don't understand all the Penta. fans saying their cover is better. Shush, Imogen is the best. If you like that cover so much then go watch it.

I find it funny how she sounds like a guy when she sings this but pentatonix's version has a guy singing the solo like a girl

I've heard the nightcore version of this, the Pentatonix version, and five other covers of this song, including a piano version - but never the *actual,* original version.Personally, I think this is the best. :)

The Pentatonix version is amazing, but because of the sharper edge and more bass it comes across as more in-your-face.. I like this version more because of the light-hearted edge to it, makes it even more chilling and slightly childlike.. Reminds me of something you'd hear in the background of something like Pretty Little Liars.

Big fan of Imogen Heap and surprised on how great ptx covered it. Can't choose both are great!

I love the two takes on the same song from PTX and Imogen Heap. Obviously hers is the original and PTX does her some great justice, but their version will jerk you between the different parts of the song in a really cool way, while hers is smooth and less in-your-face, but haunting because of her style. I've always liked her style because she's ahead of the times while also keeping the age-old tried and true stuff that made music what it is, and PTX is basically today's culmination of a newfound love for acapella, pop, and the fact that voice began music.
