First of all, not all modern rap is bad. There are a lot of great artists out there, for example The Shotgun Wedding Quintet, Talib Kweli, Jazz Liberatorz, Macklemore, Othello and the Hipknotics or Blue Scholars, to only name a few. Secondly, I feel it's very pretentious and arrogant to think your preferences in music are in any way superior to another person's. Taste is called taste for a reason. Also, self-confidence and pride shouldn't come from your tastes, but from within you.

couldn't really understand all the lyrics too well at all.. it's a good song and all but for me , the lyrics are always the strongest part. so maybe you could edit the vid and put the lyrics up instead of the rose the whole time? it's make it a lot better.

@Wolvenhybrid that is an entirely counterproductive and selfish thing to want. If forcing you to put up with some "arseholes" is the price you have to pay for good musicians to achieve the level of success they need to continue to make music, consider it a bargain. If you consider them good, introducing new people to the bands work would be a favor to both those people and the band and impacts you not at all, unless you consider it blow to your massive ego to enjoy music that other people do too

@bokma7 On the contrary, my friend. I hope they remain as unknown as they are now. If they are widely known you get arseholes playing their songs every hour of the day. Look at modern rap. I know this would probably not be the case, just a thought, but I feel proud to belong to a group that actually have a decent taste in music.
