An interesting novelty duo song from these brothers. Joe Mooney went blind at the age of ten, but it didn't stop him playing piano with his brother to great effect here. The duet split when Dan left the music industry in 1936, but Joe continued playing until the mid 1960's.

Well, it's the truth Jon. Chris Ellis had one day of tudio time to produce 20 numbers for one of his World Records issues including transferring, equalizing, declicking .and producing the master tape.

Dan vanished without a trace. After 1946 nobody ever heard anything about him. There's a great CD on Retrieval with most of their records done by the great late John R.T. Your restoration is in the same league though, if not a bit better. He had to work against a time schedule, we amateurs have the luxury that we can spend as much time as we want.
