My favorite Savoy Brown album, I would even go so far as to put it in my Top 10-15 a albums of all time. Chris Youlden is incredible as always, one of the best bluesy voices ever! He reminds me of a British version of Tony Joe White who brings out that Southern blues/swamp sound in his voice!

Along with Eric Burdon, UK's greatest white blues singer. Also, a very under appreciated songwriter. Raw Sienna was Savoy's best

3 years later: I have maintained, for decades, that Jim Morrison was Rock's only crooner; I am now having to rethink that... The U.S. had Butterfield, the U.K. had Mayall; we had Ryder, they had Burdon; we had Morrison, they had Youldon.

Raw Sienna was one of my first albums to buy. Still just as good today as then.

I love sexy style he sings with. Definitely more rich and full than the punk of the Sex Pistols. Nancy used to hate me for watching that movvie, Sid and Nancy. Hey, Sid died when he was 21. I think but he never made music like Savoy Brown, or Kim Edmunds, he wasan anarchist and a crazed punk. I am amazed to still be alive. Got to get back to the ocean and get diown on my hands and knees and thank the Master of the universe for being patient with me.Ditto, Charles
