As a rap fan my whole life, I got to say this is truly trash. If you grew up listening to wayne's early shit during the early 2000s and tupac, biggie, eminem, nas, hopsin, so many great artist and like it or not lil wayne is still a great lyricist BUT I would have to say guys like logic, kendrick lamar, school boy q, asap rocky, rich homie quan, kanye, hopsin still makes great music & wiz khalifa despite the wiz haters he's great. Guys like young thug, partynextdoor, fetty, soulja boy, 2 chainz, gucci mane, drake are all hurting the rap game. Fetty & Drake practically sing in half of there "rap" songs and threw a good beat over it.. That's not rap, listen to trap queen and tell me that's rap.. That's trash, go listen to some of logic's tracks and kendrick's new album, school boy q is such a good lyricist but people sleep on him he's a top 5 rapper for sure, and like it or not wiz is a great rapper with flaws of course because he raps high half the time but he has a few bangers. Overall, fetty, drake, young thug, soulja, gucci mane, 2 chainz are truly hurting this industry and then females like nicki (not saying females can't rap) try to come in and take over? Nicki is by far the biggest embarrassment in YMCMB's history aside from drake. Lil Wayne is the best to do it in ymcmb and he's gone, ymcmb is over.. Our rap game is turning to shit because teens in our industry listen to the BEATS and not the lyrics. Most of the time these teens don't care about what the rappers are saying they listen to the beat and sing the main hook.. Fix it guys, rap is falling apart :(
