Ironically, after saying what I said a week ago about preferring this newer version better, I've learned to play (piano) the song with the original faster pace. I'm going to have to relearn it, shouldn't be too hard, at this slower pace. We are the Valley Gentlemen, playing 1950s rock'n'roll, country and western, gospel and the odd Wanda Jackson rock-a-billy for seniors homes happy hours in British Columbia's beautiful Okanagan Valley.

I agree, sometimes his later versions of his early songs are better in my opinion. I love how his voice has changed over the years.
