Hi Marilyn, This is the other song I was trying to think of. Sound familiar? There were so many versions, it was tough to decide between Vera Lynn or Rosemary Clooney. But it's hard to beat Frank and Tommy. Cheers, Michael

Lets thank Dorsey for the Pied Pipers and giving Sinatra an example of phrasing, breathing, and singing through the Trombone. Without Dorsey; really no Frank if you think of about it. ;:) its great how the people in our lives can impact us and carry us to what we become in positive ways and the bad. Because without the bad you can't learn and grow and without the good you can't touch peoples hearts.

La combinación del sonido de la orquesta de Tommy Dorsey con la voz de Sinatra en este tema I'll be seein' You dio lugar a un pequeño clásico. Los arreglos de Dorsey siguen siendo magistrales. Disfrútalo!!

Many comments here indicate a longing for a time when there were better values and morals. One excellent value is refraining from making excuses and taking responsibility for ones situation. If you want a better world, set the example and bring those values to the forefront rather than assuming that those around you dictate your inevitable reality. A lot of ladies are here because this song was in The Notebook (though that was Jimmy Durante, not Sinatra), if you want a man like Noah, go get him and realize that men like that didn't just disappear in the latter half of the 20th century, plus there were womanizing scumbags back then too (such as Sinatra).

In other people's opinion, it was Billie Holiday.

They just don't make music like this anymore. Its comes from a time of better values and morals. I was born in the wrong era...

Although yes, it was a rather upbeat take, I still think that it packs all kinds of emotion. Personally, both of Frank's takes of this song during his solo career really disappoint me.

Why do I have to see ads for frigging rap artists, when I want to listen to this music. It's pathetic.

My personal favourite renditions of the songs are by Billie Hliday and Jimmy Durante but the song is so awesome you cant go wrong with it in my opinion.
