The insane thing about this song is that's one single riff all the way through, yet is varied enough to be interesting and catchy as well as full of dark lyrical landscapes you wouldn't expect from a 1965 American teenager. Most 60s garage rock has some point of reference, some fairly clear influence from better known groups, but this seems to plough its own furrow. It was the very first Osterberg original. A taste of what was to follow a few years later.

let's forget the Iggy today. He's a superstar. It marrs the perfection of this early insanity. They all gel. The poetic dreamscape lyrics, which are delivered in a variety of ways, sounds even double tracked at some points have the Michigan influence in there, at one point sounding like Bob Seger in hushed tone - this is the punk experience. Breaking all the rules with this one. Superb. thanks for sharing..haven't heard it in a while. For a demo this is great. Why no LP by the Iguanas? sighhh
