Sweden has selected the song "If I were sorry" by Frans to represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. Frans won ahead of Oscar Zia and Ace Wilder at Friends Arena on March 12, 2016.

I liked Wiktoria so much, she's so good!I'm actually quite sad that Frans is the one Sweden chose.But I have to say, I enjoyed Melodifestivalen a lot! It was so fun to watch, such a great song!8 years ago

I think that there's a geniality and simplicity to Frans' song that apparently the majority of the swedish people got. I'm just tired of reading all the negative comments about how "the wrong song won", like a repetitive record every year. Frans' song is really good, and since the majority of the Eurovision songs this year is based on pop/dance/rock songs, I think Frans will stand out and hopefully result in a good spot. I mean, we're hosting the bloody thing, does it really matter if we win again? Just have fun with it! :)8 years ago
