I grew up with the Pete Seeger / Weavers versions, forgot about Trini Lopez, I think I'll play it this way for a change. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Hi Mr Tuffnell aka James, I grew up with this album as my parents used to play it at their parties in the late 60s. Great to stumble on your tutorial and thanks very much!

Went to PT tonight and found out about JJ!! I'm a 65 year old dude who's been playing since I was 14 and learned so much from your videos over the years. As important, I really enjoy watching you play and listening to the diversity of tunes. Hell, I wrote an article about you in my blog last year trying to let as many guitarists know about you as possible. Going to JJ was the right thing to do. You didn't just leave but took control. BuYah Dude!! Just don't let the bastards get you down. Keep having fun and letting the rest of us in on it.

You make it sound easy. For me it's not easy to play those chords that fast and have it sound anything other than like poop. It'll be a lot more practice for me before I'm at that kind of speed.

Hey James. Will you ever get back to covering any Van Halen songs?

Too Cool! Wasn't that Trini in The Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin? Didn't he have Gibson signature guitar. An all around great entertainer!

JJ, you have stressed enough that becoming a good rhythm player is more important than becoming a good lead-only player. My strumming consistency is all right, and I can get through pretty much all the chords, so can I call myself a good rhythm player? Do you suggest any other gauges to verify it? If I can step into lead playing now, would you please suggest how to begin with it? I'm kinda clueless.

Holy... Didn't know our super famous and terrible Claude François didn't write that one. He also covered Mad to Love and From me to You. And it's quite ridiculous. Still, cool to see unusual requests !
