My favourite idle race tune, its like jeff lynnes st pepper moment. From the sound effects at the start to the "thats all folks" sample at the end its perfect. Long live jeff lynne, may you one day return to making records as good as this, and remember kenny everett who championed the idle race and made extensive use of the sound effects from the idle races albums.

I was so happy the day I first heard the E.L.O.-like magic of this group...Jeff Lynne definitely had his sound figured out years before it got big, ambient anglopop of the highest quality!

I've just realised if you listen closely to the intro you can hear a very short clip from 'The Skeleton and the Roundabout'

The song is by Jeff Lynne... The living musical GOD!! The only one who can pretend to be better than Paul McCartney!!! I love Jeff, he's perfect... Every song he wrote is a great one!! Listen to his version of "I am The Wlarus"... the song is a ELO b-side and is called "Hello my old Friend".... Fuck!!! A b-side!!!!!!!!! And it's maybe the best song written in the 80's!!!
