I love Idina's performance because it proves while it may not be perfect it's an example of a musical performance that leaves an impact. It's one of the reasons I decided to learn it on Viola (check my channel for video :D). Also, I'm going to feel dorky for saying this but did anyone notice how her witch cape is attached with the plastic buckle thing you often find on backpacks? Haha

Thanks to the uploader for this video with the original Broadway cast. Only discovering "Wicked," Idina Menzel (due to "Frozen") and Kristin Chenoweth in 2015! Now, I wish I could've seen the entire show on Broadway with them in it. Looks incredible! Someone said Idina was recovering from a cold during her Tony Award performance. I didn't notice. She sounded fantastic to me anyway!! Note: This is the best copy of the 2004 Tony Award "Defying Gravity" number, IMO!
