this video displays perfectly why Brian is not only one of the greatest drummers alive but one of the top MUSICIANS...he plays for the song perfectly, he knows exactly when to give more and less...and when Daniel is giving him instructions, he smiles...he may not follow the instructions exactly, but he remains open to all possibilities that the music may bring out...other musicians may not have been so welcoming to that kind of direction.

Brian Blade is awesome. He doesn't need any elevated, inverted drum riser. He just lays it down so right.Lanois directing right in their faces is just a fun thing to see, =^DHe's a producer who launch his own brand of headphones, that emphasize the human element in great recordings.
