Icicle goes dubstep, deep and moody dubstep. The drum and bass heavyweight drops the BPM's and proves once more he's on top of his game with 'Minimal Dub'...

The noises are easy to create but to pick the right ones and order the correctly is a different story. If you think it's so easy why aren't you signed to Shogun Audio?

heard this before minimal funk and now minimal funk sounds weird to me...which is strange since as i almost always go for dnb over dubstep

Skrillex may have been a good DJ if he didn't suck so much capitalist dick, I bet youve got Justin Bieber posters in your room you cretinous pre-op

Yes, I totally agree with you. This is the song that got me into Icicle. For that reason alone I think it's his best song. Fantastic.

Why compare skrillex to Icicle ....they dont even make the same genre of music .... ( skrillex doesnt make dubstep)

His fucking bass noises are a 5 minute job in Massive and a 2minute job in FM8, easy as fuck.

because everyone has an opinion (human nature) and nobody will ever completely agree on music tastes. It gets a bit annoying when you see his name on every video and people reliving the same arguments doesn't it?

At the end of the day, Skrillex should never be mentioned with Distance, Icicle, Skream, or any of the DUBSTEP artists. I get bored quickly of the same sounds in every track and I realize people stick to a comfortable style but artists like Datsik or Skream have gone outside their comfort zone and have done fine. I listen to about 5-6 tracks by Skrillex and that's strictly because they have a uniqueness to them for once. Anyway, there's no point in arguing about this..

People can hop on Logic, Cubase, Fruityloops, Abelton, Reason, or another program first off. Secondly, they can type 'How to make a Skrillex growling bass line' and basically copy it precisely. Where's the 'talent' in a sound that everyone and their mother can produce? Also, how do you think I knew you were 15? It's pretty obvious honestly who likes Skrillex and how it corresponds with their age. Honestly, I agree with the British on how Americans fucked up the genre and I feel bad for them.

15 is a kid to me and I doubt you've produced any type of music since you were 10 honestly, sorry. It's the same repeated talking bass lines and the same boring style in every track. Not to mention, the guy cannot DJ live and to me the sounds do clash with a genre it shouldn't even be mentioned with. I get tired of people putting his name with real producers like Icicle and I'm also tired of seeing his name on every Dubstep video. He doesn't belong in this genre..

I assume you're probably some 15 year old kid who doesn't know the difference between talent and a sell-out? Minimal tracks like this actually take far more talent in order to set an atmosphere and a mood. Go back to listening to some overrated sell-out who makes the same bass lines and is only popular because of ignorant kids such as yourself.

Regularly occurring conversation: Me: Hey what music do you like? Them: Dubstep! You know, like skrillex? Me: *walks away*
