Interessantissima realtà Power canadese che promette bene e che per fortuna continua ad essere attiva nonostante l'ultimo album è datato 2010 e proprio su questo voglio puntare i riflettori, Again Came the Storm è ben registrato, conserva 10 brani veramente trascinanti ed epici, le melodie argute in un genere come questo fanno la differenza, le tracce son veramente strutturate bene, coinvolgono non poco sfoderando barlumi di potenza con melodie solenni.Nati nel 2002 per mano del chitarrista Jay Menard, gli ICEWIND hanno avuto un cammino un pò tortuoso per via di svariati cambi di line up ma tutto sommato son riusciti a farsi spazio anche grazie a etichette di rilievo come l'Underground Symphony e Steelheart Records, per cui scelgo un pezzo da novanta per farvi dare un'idea concreta sul loro conto... tenetevi forte. \m/(Samuele)
