Love Ian Hunter, Ronno really added CLASS to Ian's band. Such effortless superb musicianship from one of the all time Greats of Rock Guitar. Kudos to Ian for getting Ronno onboard.

Mick Ronson had a genius for knowing how to play behind and enhance what a singer was singing, while never getting in the way. He created a unique sound that a huge part all that great music that came out in the 70's. As for Ian Hunter, he is one of my all-time favorites, and his solo albums stand the test of time and still sound great.

I was lucky enough to catch Ian and Rono play The Forge in Victoria, British Columbia a few times back in the 80s. They were the most memorable club concerts I've seen. Damn it was a friggin good time. Miss ya Rono. RIP

Mick Ronson. The best reason I ever needed to have a stab at playing guitar - and Ian... Jesus, we grew up with this... nowadays it seems that all you have to do is play on a record player (someone else's) record to be a success...

I have to say I am also one of "those" people who thought GW was the first. Now I know! I guess you could say that when we stumble upon Ian Hunter, it's a way GW paid him back for letting them use his song

I love that famous Hunter quote `I love arrogance, i`ll get it back`.

On the flipside of this, I have sometimes had to correct people who thought Ian Hunter wrote Mott The Hoople's hit All The Young Dudes. S'funny innit?
