So my friend from grandmas dying days once told me that her parents foster child was punished for pooping without a diaper. I said oh my god how mean and abusive. I love this song. My husband died, but I feel he is still with me. We made a pact that whoever God took first, the other should find someone else to share a life with. It's 12 years later, and I am still not with anyone else. It would be nice to find someone to share the rest of my years with someone special. I will never forget him though.

whenever i hear this song, i am transported back to the days when i would be laying under the covers in my pink heart bed, room dark except for the light from the hallway coming through the open door, giving me just enough light to see my dad sitting at the foot of my bed with his guitar playing this song for me to fall asleep to.i am 24 next week and i still see and hear it clear as day. My dad taught me so much about getting through life and about growing closer to God. And true to his word, when I was having a breakdown in our front lawn after putting my pills in his room to keep myself from doing something stupid, he left work to come sit and talk me through it. when i called him sobbing at 2 am, he drove across town to be with me.
