I see so much beauty in this song having in mind that it's really about love to a woman. Listen to the beginning of the song: "I love to pick you up / Cause you're still a baby to me". Don't you think that you can't say that to a 4 years child, because of the "still", and you can't say that to your child who is already 18+ years old cause the closing part will sound to say the least weird? there is no ambiguity in this song. It's a man singing to his woman. and any sexual overtones are intended. really quite sophisticated. trying to make it tawdry or something else is a disservice to Dennis, and shows a lack of understanding.
