I agree. I once heard him playing, replacing Lew Soloff, with the Carneghy Hall big band in Venice. He was young and scared but, of course, it was his best performance in my opinion. And that just because he was flying low. Now he puts too much attention to technique but the feeling is poor.10 years ago
